Curriculum enrichment grants

Teachers need items and supplies that the school budget cannot provide. Grants happen in the spring and fall. We meet with Mule Pushers, the Mule Team, and faculty to decide which organization the requests fall under. We consider how many children the items can help, if there are any outside funding sources, and how much of each grant request we can support (not all grants can be fully funded, and due to limited resources and the number of grant requests, some aren't funded at all).

This money is raised by joining the PTSO, selling HEB cards, dining out nights, and other fundraisers we have.

• 2018-19: PTSO gave almost $50,000.00 in grants.
• 2019-2020: PTSO gave $25,000.00 in fall grants. (The spring grants were put on hold because of the early school closure.)
• 2020-2021: PTSO gave $31,000 in fall grants to cover the spring allocations.
• Join us, support our fundraising efforts, and volunteer so we can supply our teachers with what they need to enhance student learning.
